About

My name is Michael Palmer, and I am thrilled that you have come to my blog.

A little bit about who I am:

I am the husband of a wildly beautiful and talented wife, and the father of two vibrant and incredible kids. They are, by far, the biggest part of my life.

I am currently serving as the Lead Pastor of Living Vine Church and I love every minute of it.

I am a native Midwesterner, born in Iowa, raised in St. Louis and have spent time living in Kansas, South Korea, Switzerland and currently call Northern California home.

I am an avid St. Louis Cardinals fan, I drink far too much coffee (Kaldi’s forever), and enjoy reading and writing whenever I am afforded a free moment.

This blog has evolved over time, and is often used as a space for me to work through thoughts on Kingdom-living, music, pop-culture, lit-reviews and, well, anything else I might want to put down in black-and-white.

So thank you for taking a few moments from the busy moments that fill your days to stop by my site. If you find something you’d like to discuss, debate or engage, you are invited to do so. Here, conversation is always welcome.

Grace and peace to you,

Michael

  3. It seems as though many Nazarene’s have bought into the idea that faith without all the answers is not truly faith. It kills me to live in the sugar covered land of fake Christianity that does little to scratch the surface of real life, and is only worried about “getting people to heaven.” Thank you for asking this question. I have been asking the same thing myself over the last few months.
