Monday Morning Music: “You Are A Tourist” by Deathcab For Cutie (And a word of thanks…)

Happy Monday evening!

I’m not sure if you all have noticed, but my posting has been less frequent these days. With all the added responsibilities in life stacking up, and new writing opportunities presenting themselves, and the most important thing – family time – taking priority over all the rest, I’ve just not had enough hours in the week to blog like I’d want. I will remedy this. I’ll find routine in this new life, and when I do, I promise to write more. So, for those sticking with me, I want to say thanks!

Now, for the M3 song of the week. If you’ve followed this blog for any sort of time, you’ll have figured out that I’m a sucker for Deathcab for Cutie. They are one of those bands whose music has meaning for every new time in life. I picked this song because, well, even though the E, E2 and I have been in STL for 5 months, I still find myself feeling a bit like a tourist.

So, here’s to being a foreigner in one’s own country. Enjoy!
