Monday Morning Music: “Christmas (Baby Please Come Home)” by Death Cab for Cutie

Happy Monday,

I trust each of you had a wonderful thanksgiving filled with family and friends, with more than enough turkey and dressing. I hope you ate a little for me, seeing as one turkey costs nearly 80 dollars in Korea.

Monday Morning will be taking a bit of a turn for the next 4 weeks. Now that Thanksgiving has come and gone, it’s now the beginning of the Christmas season, and so M3 will reflect the season’s spirit. I didn’t want to play anything that is a Soft Rock station staple; not that there’s anything wrong with those songs. I just wanted to offer something a bit different. In keeping with the familiar, I worked hard to find famous Christmas songs performed by artists that had been featured on M3. I hope you all enjoy them as much as I did finding and listening to them.

The first artist up  is Death Cab for Cutie. You’ll remember them for “Transatlanticism” and ” I will follow you into the dark.” Today you’ll hear their take on the song, Christmas (Baby, Please come home).

Enjoy.
