Monday Morning Music: Thistle and Weeds by Mumford and Sons

The band Mumford and Sons has blown up over the past year,  and rightfully so. Daring to go places our “pop music” culture dares not go, this banjo plucking (though, no banjo in this song- sorry to disappoint), piano playing band from the U.K. is worth every second that their songs commands from the listener.

Why this song for MMM? Because the bridge of the song never gets old.

(Note: The version embedded in this post is live, due to issues with re-posting the studio version. If you are interested in hearing a cleaner cut of the song, follow this link.)
